The European SEAFOODWAYS network

In May 2014, the OLANO Group, together with its partners STEF and EXPRESS MARÉE, committed to a common eco-responsible approach by creating SEAFOODWAYS, the first European seafood collection and distribution network enabling all the main European production and consumption areas to be served in less than 48 hours.

In October 2014, the three founders formalised the accession of three new players to the network: O’TOOLE TRANSPORT (Ireland), KOTRA (Netherlands) and MED FRIGO (Greece).

Currently, SEAFOODWAYS is still the only European network for seafood transport and logistics.

It is now composed of 5 partners:

2017

For the fourth consecutive year, the members of the SEAFOODWAYS network (including the OLANO Group, one of the founding members) were present at the SEAFOOD EXPO trade fair in Brussels, to highlight the leading transport and logistics network for seafood products in Europe, which guarantees deliveries throughout Europe in less than 48 hours.

The strengths of the SEAFOODWAYS network:

  • Deliveries throughout Europe in less than 48 hours
  • Traceability and food safety
  • Quality and homogeneity of service
  • Optimisation of operations

The year ended with the second key date, the CONXEMAR exhibition in Vigo.

The annual presence of the SEAFOODWAYS network at these two key trade fairs for the seafood sector is of utmost importance. The SEAFOODWAYS stand is a place to welcome the customers of each member and to exchange ideas over a coffee or an oyster tasting. The fairs also allow all the operational teams to meet and optimise working relationships. The SEAFOODWAYS network is a strictly operational network.
